Cable rack hooks, Cable Hooks– Underground hardware

AKA: Pressed steel cable hooks, Cable rack hooks, cable hooks

Most commonly used for:  Cable hooks are used with cable racks to support the heaviest cable runs in manholes and interior cable vaults.

Features that make it fit this use better: Cable hooks are smooth and corners well rounded to protect cable from damage. Tip ends are bent up slightly to prevent the cable falling off.  Rack ends are formed so that, when installed in the rack slots, they fit snugly, provide increased support, and supply an extremely rigid seat for the cable.

Made with: PRESSED STEEL CABLE HOOKS are fabricated from “Strip” Steel. Accurately press-die formed into a channel shape to provide increased strength and rigidity.  Kortick Manufacturing hot dip galvanizes all of their cable hooks for improved resistance to corrosion.

Standard measures, dimensions and standards:  Standard cable rack hook lengths are as follows:  4″,  7-1/2″,  10″ ,  14″, 18″.
