Angle Crossarm Braces (V braces, Vee braces, angle braces) for pole line hardware

Angle Crossarm Braces

AKA:  Angle cross arm braces, Vee Braces, V braces, Angle Braces

Most commonly used for: In the power line or pole line hardware industries, Kortick angle crossarm braces are installed at poles where wire loading requires well-braced heavy crossarm construction or where crossarm should be reinforced to carry transformers and other heavy equipment.

Features that make it fit this use better:  Kortick Manufacturing provides the best cross arm braces in the industry.  They are hot formed from one piece of steel angle iron and have a shaped bend that allows for greater wrench clearance, making fastening to the pole easier.

Made with:  Formed from one piece of steel angle angle iron.  Conform to latest revision EEI spec. Td-6.

Fabricated from open hearth “carbon” steel bars, latest revision ASTM spec.  A7 and hot dip galvanized, latest revision ASTM spec. A153.

Standard measures, dimensions and standards:  Length is measured from end to end and is labeled “A”.  The distance from hole center to hole center is labeled “B”.  The drop, labeled “C”, is measured from the top of the brace to the center of the bottom hole.  Braces are fastened to the pole with 5/8 inch crossarm bolts, and to the crossarm with ½” crossarm bolts or lag screws.  Mounting bolts and lags are extra and should be ordered separately.
